About Us

The late Carmine Joseph Colangelo originally started C&T ELECTRIC CORPORATION in 1973 as an electrical contracting company. In 1980 his son, Joseph Carmine Colangelo, who is now president and owner of the company, joined him. Through the years C&T ELECTRIC CORPORATION has evolved to meet the changing requirements of its customers.

• In 1989 we became ELAN Home System’s providers, which includes audio/video distribution and control throughout your home.  Following the addition of ELAN installations to our offerings, C&T ELECTRIC CORPORATION became committed to providing our customers with the industries best access and control products to make their homes as useful and comfortable as possible. 
• This list includes Lutron Homework’s lighting control systems and Sivoia QED controllable shading products.  Lutron lighting and shading control systems help to save energy while providing sophistication and aesthetic appeal to your home.  Generac automatic start generator systems, Sunfire home theater systems, Elan “g” whole house control systems, Aprilaire HVAC control systems, Speco and Panasonic video surveillance, and GE Networx security systems round out the list of products we offer.
